Campbell is one of the Outhouses which were built in 1899 and was the last of the Houses created by Dame Frances Dove. Called jointly after Professor and Mrs Campbell, in whose drawing room at St Andrew’s the founding of our sister school, St Leonard’s was planned. Both the Professor and Mrs Campbell agreed to become members of the Wycombe Abbey Council and Professor Campbell agreed to be Chairman. Today, the House still uses the purple colour Dames Frances gave them and is still situated on Marlow Hill. Campbell houses around 50 pupils from ages 12 to 17 with the youngest four year groups sharing dorms and the oldest having their own study bedroom. The House stands out for its strong inter-year relationships and for its dedicated staff.
